An oil pastel painting I recently completed, "Evening Color on Black Ridge," will be included in the La Plata Open Space Conservancy annual Snowdown Fine Art Exhibition. The wine tasting and art exhibit fundraiser takes place on January 31, 2008 at the Bank of Colorado, 1199 Main Avenue in Durango. La Plata Open Space is a wonderful, and necessary, organization dedicated to preserving parcels of land throughout the area. Twelve other talented artists and I will have our work on display for previewing throughout the month of January at the bank.
